Ashwin Baluja

I’m a Computer Science student at Northwestern University, graduating in June 2025. My work focuses on machine learning and multimodal generative models, especially with respect to designing new ways to make generative AI more controllable and useful. The capabilities of modern generative models are nearly magical, and I want to make it so people can enjoy using them rather than just tolerate their existence, and learn to use them as tools for their creative process.
